(1) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the cap.

Diameter of the bearings before installation ... 55.309 ± 0.020 mm (2.1775 ± 0.0008 inch)

(2) Before installation, apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the last three threads.

Torque for the bolt ... 2600.0 ± 200.0 N·m (1920.00 ± 140.00 lb ft)

(3) Diameter of the cylinder ... 120.65 ± 0.08 mm (4.750 ± 0.003 inch)

(4) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the fluid that is being sealed.

(5) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove.

(6) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the rod.

Diameter of the bearing before installation ... 55.309 ± 0.020 mm (2.1775 ± 0.0008 inch)

(7) Before assembly, lubricate the threads with clean grease.

Diameter of the lands ... 60.61 ± 0.03 mm (2.386 ± 0.001 inch)

Torque for the head ... 600.0 ± 130.0 N·m (440.00 ± 95.00 lb ft)

(8) Diameter of the rod ... 60.32 mm (2.375 inch)

(9) 6L-6208 Spring

Outside diameter ... 19.56 mm (0.770 inch)

Assembled length ... 87.9 mm (3.46 inch)

Load at the assembled length ... 5.0 ± 1.0 N·m (50.00± 3.00 lb in)

Free length after the test ... 111.8 mm (4.40 inch)
