Cab Tilting

Usage:

CS-563C 4KN

Raising the Cab

In order to permit easy access to the mechanical components and the hydraulic components, the cab can be tilted forward.

The hydraulic pump is operated manually. The hydraulic pump is used in order to raise the cab. The hydraulic pump is used in order to lower the cab.

  1. Remove bolts (1) and remove cover plate (2). The cover plates and the bolts are located on both sides of the cab. The cover plates and the bolts are located behind the seat.

  2. Remove bolt (3) on each side of the machine. Remove nut (4) on each side of the machine.

  3. Remove bolts (7) and remove spacers (8).

  4. Remove bolts (9) and (10).

  5. Install bolts (7) and spacers (8) into hole (6). Install spacers (8) between the cab and the frame pivot.

  6. Remove cover (11) from the hydraulic pump. The pump is located on the right side of the machine.

  7. Remove pump handle (12) from the storage location inside the cab.

  8. Move valve (13) to the TOP position.

  9. Insert pump handle (12) into the pump. Move the handle upward and move the handle downward in order to raise the cab.

  10. Continue to raise the cab. After the cab is raised, install bolts (10) into the original bolt holes when bolt holes (6) are in alignment.

  11. Move valve (13) to the HORIZONTAL (NEUTRAL) position. The HORIZONTAL (NEUTRAL) position will prevent the buildup of pressure in the hydraulic system.

  1. Remove bolts (10).

  2. Move valve (13) to the BOTTOM position.

  3. In order to lower the cab, use pump handle (12).

  4. After the cab is lowered, install bolts (9) and (10).

  5. Remove bolts (7) and spacers (8) from hole (5).

  6. Install bolts (9) and spacers (6).

  7. Install bolts (3) and nuts (4) that are located inside the cab. The bolts and nuts are located behind the seat.

  8. Install cover plate (2) and bolts (1) that are located on each side of the cab. The cover plate and the bolts are located behind the seat.

  9. Install cover (11) on the hydraulic pump.
