(1) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the cap.
- Diameter of the bearings before installation ... 60.315 ± 0.020 mm (2.3746 ± 0.0008 inch)
(2) Before installation, apply clean grease to the threads.
- Torque for the bolt ... 3200.0 ± 200.0 N·m (2360.00 ± 140.00 lb ft)
(3) Diameter of the cylinder ... 136.53 ± 0.08 mm (5.375 ± 0.003 inch)
(4) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the fluid that is being sealed.
(5) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove.
(6) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the rod.
- Diameter of the bearing before installation ... 60.315 ± 0.020 mm (2.3746 ± 0.0008 inch)
(7) Before assembly, lubricate the threads with clean grease.
- Diameter of the lands ... 70.13 ± 0.03 mm (2.761 ± 0.001 inch)
- Torque for the head ... 600.0 ± 130.0 N·m (440.00 ± 95.00 lb ft)
(8) Diameter of the rod ... 69.85 mm (2.750 inch)
(9) 9T-2178 Spring
- Outside diameter ... 17.58 mm (0.692 inch)
- Assembled length ... 40.6 mm (1.60 inch)
- Load at the assembled length ... 89.0 ± 7.0 N (20.00 ± 2.00 lb)
