Main Control Valve - Disassemble

Usage:

TK1051 9HZ

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the main control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Control Valve - Remove".

  1. Remove swing valve (2) .

    1. Remove manifold (3) from the swing valve.

      Note: The swing valve is the only section of the main control valve that has a manifold as an addition to the valve.

      Note: Travel valves (1) are very similar to the swing valve.

    1. Remove two bolts (4) from each cap (5). Remove two caps (5) .

      Note: The caps must be replaced in the original position.

    1. Remove shims (6), seats (7), and springs (8) from the swing valve.

      Note: Springs (8) and shims (6) must be replaced in the original position.

    1. Remove spool (9) from the swing valve.

      Note: Spool (9) must be replaced in the original position.

    1. Remove valve (10) .

    1. Remove two plugs (13) and (14) from manifold (12) .

    1. Remove seat (15), spring (16), and ball (17) from the manifold.

    1. Remove valve (18) and spool (19) from the manifold.

    1. Remove plug (20) and valve (21) from the manifold.

    1. Remove plug (22) .

    1. Remove seat (23), housing (24), ball (25), and seat (26) from the manifold.

    1. Remove plug (27), spring (28), seat (29), shims (30), spring (31), and seat (32) .

  1. Remove stick valve (33) .

    Note: The stick valve, the tilt valve and the boom valve are similar.

    1. Remove two bolts (34) from each cap (35). Remove two caps (35) .

      Note: Caps (35) must be replaced in the original position.

    1. Remove shims (36), spring (37), and seat (38) from the stick valve.

      Note: Shims (36) and spring (37) must be replaced in the original location.

    1. Remove spool (39) .

      Note: Spool (39) must be replaced in the original position.

    1. Remove valves (40) and (41) .

  1. Carefully remove two bolts (42). There is spring tension behind plate (43) .

  1. Remove four bolts (46). Remove pressure cutoff valve (47) .
