191-8161 Swing Cylinder

(1) Before installation, apply 4C-9506 Retaining Compound to the threads. Torque the nut to 540.0 ± 30.0 N·m (400.00 ± 20.00 lb ft). Then, turn the nut 25 to 35 degrees.

(2) 3N-5739 Spring

Outside diameter ... 11.99 mm (0.472 inch)

Assembled length ... 44.45 mm (1.750 inch)

Load at the assembled length ... 69.0 N (16.00 lb)

Free length after the test ... 111.56 mm (4.392 inch)

(3) Diameter of the cylinder ... 101.60 ± 0.08 mm (4.000 ± 0.003 inch)

(4) Diameter of the rod ... 50.750 ± 0.038 mm (1.9980 ± 0.0015 inch)

(5) Before assembly, lubricate the sealing lip with the fluid that is being sealed.

(6) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the wiper seal groove.

(7) Before assembly, lubricate the threads with clean grease.

Diameter of the lands ... 51.13 ± 0.03 mm (2.013 ± 0.001 inch)

Torque for the head ... 600.0 ± 130.0 N·m (440.00 ± 95.00 lb ft)

(8) After assembly, the bearings can not extend beyond the surfaces of the rod.

Diameter of the bearing before installation ... 50.152 ± 0.020 mm (1.9745 ± 0.0008 inch)
