Fuel System Water Separator - Drain

Personal injury or death can result if spilled fuel ignites. Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately. |
Note: The water separator is not a filter. The water separator separates the water from the fuel.

The water separator is located on the right side of the engine.
- Open the drain valve. Allow the water and sediment to drain into a suitable container.
- Close the drain valve.
