Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) - Inspect

Inspect the rollover protective structure (ROPS) for cracks. Inspect the rollover protective structure (ROPS) for any loose bolts or for damaged bolts. Replace the damaged bolts with original equipment parts only. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 800 ± 100 N·m (592 ± 74 lb ft).
Replace the ROPS mounting support if the ROPS rattles.
Do not straighten the ROPS or do not repair the ROPS by welding reinforcement plates to the ROPS.
Consult your Caterpillar dealer for the repair of the ROPS.
