Assembly Procedure

1. Lower the temperature of sleeve bearing (14) and install a new sleeve bearing in each of the sheave assemblies. After installation of the sleeve bearings, the inside diameter of the sleeve bearings must be 82.514 ± 0.075 mm (3.2486 ± 0.0030 inch).

2. Put yoke assembly (13) in position on plate (12) .

3. Put pin (10) in plate assembly (11). Install washer (12) .

4. Install sheave assembly (9) and washer (8) .

5. Install plate assembly (7), sheave assembly (6) and washer (5) .

6. Install plate assembly (2). Put spacer (4) in position and install two bolts (1) and two bolts (3) .

7. Put lubricant in the bearings. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7109, "Sheave Block Bearings - Lubricate".

End By: Install the lower sheave block.
