Final Drive Oil Level - Check

Usage:

580 7CN
Note: This procedure is only for the 580 Wheel Harvester. Only the front four wheels have final drives. The rear wheels are not equipped with final drives.

  1. Position the machine so that the final drive filler plug is horizontal to the centerline of the wheel.

  1. Remove the filler plug. The oil level should be at the bottom of the filler plug opening. Add oil, if necessary.

    Note: If the oil level is higher than the filler plug opening, do not allow the oil to drain to the level of the filler plug opening.

  1. Clean the filler plug and install the filler plug.

  1. Repeat the procedure for the other three final drives.
