For best compaction, work on a slight downgrade. The maximum grade for compacting should be a 4:1 slope.
Three or four passes will generally provide adequate compaction.
Large, bulky items such as refrigerators or stoves must be compacted. Compact these items with the outside edge of the front wheels before you doze the items into position.
