NOTE: | This Program must be administered either before or after failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS45578" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing Lock Up Clutch (LUC) supply line may be incorrectly routed on certain 797F and 797F XQ Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing hose is routed incorrectly, it will provide unfiltered oil to the LUC valve. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary. If a 339-9705 Filter Group is installed (refer to Image1.1.1), no further action is required. |

If a 193-0922 Filter Group is installed, inspect the LUC supply line. If the LUC supply line is routed as seen in Image1.2.1, no further action is required. |

If the hose is routed as seen in Image1.3.1, the line must be replaced. Proceed to the rework procedure below. |

Rework procedure 1. Remove the 9S-8008 Plug from the filter head (leave the larger 4S-6679 Plug installed). The removed plug and seal will not be re-used. 2. Install a 6V-9007 Adapter using a 238-5082 Seal (reference Image1.2.1 for proper orientation) 3. Disconnect the 9R-4082 Hose Assembly and remove adapter from side of filter head. The removed hose, adapter, and seals may be discarded, clipping will be reused. 4. Install a new 438-8236 Hose using existing clipping points to the newly installed adapter using (2) 228-7092 Seals. 5. Install a 9S-8010 Plug using a 228-7096 Seal on the side of the filter head. |
