Special Instructions, SEHS9896, REHS0037 AND REHS0038, "Modifying Early Drawbars To Accept A Bolt-On Ball" is now available through the normal distribution system. Special Instruction SEHS9896 is for the 12G, 130G and 140G Motor Graders. REHS0037 is for the 14G Motor Grader and REHS0038 is for the 16G Motor Grader.
These Special Instructions describe the procedure for installing a bolt-on ball on early motor grader drawbars. The bolt-on ball eliminates the need for plastic inserts around the ball. Also, the bolt-on ball can be lubricated with a grease gun.
