1. Remove the coolant from engine cooling system.

2. Remove water supply line (5) and return line (4) for aftercooler.

3. Remove vent line (1) and instrument panel (3).

4. Remove intake elbow (2) from aftercooler housing.

5. Fasten a hoist to intake manifold as shown.

6. Remove bolts (6) and intake manifold. Weight of manifold is 225 lb. (102 kg).

Install Intake Manifold

1. Put intake manifold (1) in place on engine and install bolts that hold manifold to cylinder head.

2. Install intake elbow (3) on aftercooler housing.

3. Install vent line and instrument panel (2).

4. Install water supply line and return line for aftercooler.

5. Fill engine cooling system with coolant to correct level.
