Fuel Injection Lines

Usage:

Remove Fuel Injection Lines


TYPICAL EXAMPLE

1. Remove the clamp that holds the fuel injection lines together at the fuel injection pump housing.

2. Remove two clamps (2) from the fuel injection lines.

3. Disconnect the fuel injection lines at the fuel injection pump and fuel injection valves with tool (A).

4. Put covers over the openings to prevent dirt and foreign material from getting into the fuel system.

5. Put identification on all of the fuel injection lines to prevent mixing at installation.

6. Remove fuel injection lines (1).

Install Fuel Injection Lines

1. Put the injection lines (1) in position on the engine. Connect the fuel injection lines to the fuel injection pumps. Do not tighten the fuel injection lines at this time.

2. Connect the fuel injection lines to the fuel injection valves. Tighten the fuel injection lines with tool (A) to a torque of 30 ± 5 lb. ft. (40 ± 7 N·m).

3. Install two clamps (2).

4. Install the clamp that holds the fuel injection lines together at the fuel injection pump housing.
