The Effectivity of the sales models was correctly listed in the article. However, the serial number breaks were not identified. Effectivity for use of the improved 2W-3355 Prelube Pump Group (60Hz) and the 2W-3356 Prelube Pump Group (50Hz) applies to the following engines:

3606 (8RB732-Up)
3608 (6MC596-Up)
3612 (9RC297-Up), (9FR21-UP)
3616 (1PD353-Up), (1FN150-Up) Diesel Engines;
G3606 (3XF210-Up),

G3616 (4CG130-Up) Gas Engines

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

Description of Change: A new basic pump group and a new bracket assembly are used in the prelube pump groups on these engines. The new basic pump group contains a new 115/230 VAC, 50 and 60 Hertz motor and new relief valve. The new bracket assembly is required because the new pump is larger in size than the former pumps.

Adaptable To: The new 163-0134 Basic Pump Group replaces the former 3T-3679 Basic Pump Group in the 2W-3355 Prelube Pump Group (60 Hz). The new 163-0134 Basic Pump Group replaces the former 3T-3733 Basic Pump Group in the 2W-3356 Prelube Pump Group (50 Hz). The new 164-6923 Bracket Assembly replaces the former 9Y-3296 Bracket Assembly in both the 2W-3355 and 2W-3356 Prelube Pump Groups.

The 163-0134 Basic Pump Group includes the new 163-0135 Motor (115/230 VAC, 50 and 60 Hz) and new 164-6343 Relief Valve. The new motor, relief valve, and bracket assembly are retrofitable, but a review of the available space must be completed. See Illustration 2.
