Some Remanufactured 3406 Engines Have The Wrong Reference Serial Number On The Identification Plate{7557,1000}

Usage:


A remanufactured serial number and a reference serial number are put on the identification plate of remanufactured 3406 Engines. The reference serial number permits the selection of the correct parts book for a specific engine. Some of the reference serial numbers put on early remanufactured 3406 Engines are not correct. The identification plates have the correct serial numbers, starting with the serial numbers shown in the chart which follows:
