All Caterpillar Products Equipped With Modular Cabs That Have "
L"
-Shape Door Handles

A new, 9G9631 Service Handle Kit is available for installation on all Caterpillar products equipped with modular cabs that have "L"-Shape door handles.

When installed, the 9G9631 Service Handle Kit permits the operator to open a cab door from the inside while it is locked (fastened with a lock). The outside handle turns freely when the door is locked.

It is no longer necessary to unlock (release lock) both cab doors to permit the operator to go out either of the cab doors.

The 9G9631 Service Handle Kit is made up of:

2-6V2714 Handle Assembly
4-6V1841 Screw
2-6V888 Film
2-5606 Pin

Special Instruction, Form No. SMHS 7679 comes with the 9G9631 Service Handle Kit.
