Start By:

a. Remove the steering neutralizer valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Neutralizer Valve - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.

NOTE: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

1. Remove boot (1) and plug (3) from valve body (2). Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.

2. Remove spring (5) and spool (4) from valve body (2).

3. Check the condition of lip seal (6). If the seal is worn or damaged, remove it from the valve body and replace it with a new part.
