Description of Change: New Premium Wire Harness Schematics RENR2250, RENR2251, RENR2252, and RENR2253 are being introduced for high speed marine propulsion and marine auxiliary engines.
Premium wire harnesses are used on some marine engines to meet the requirements of certain marine societies such as DNV. Premium wiring can be easily identified visually. It is routed inside metal C-channel trays and the wires have heavy insulation instead of the usual protective yellow braiding.
These premium harness schematics may not be used for engines with standard wiring harnesses or vice versa. Premium wire harness engines do not have special serial number prefixes.
Adaptable To: The RENR2250 Schematic is effective with the 3508B (2BM123-Up & 7SM100-Up) Marine Propulsion Engines. The RENR2251 Schematic is effective with the 3512B (7HM178-Up & 4TN121-Up) and 3516B (8CN146-Up & 8KN196-Up) Marine Propulsion Engines. The RENR2252 Schematic is effective with the 3508B (3DM98-Up) Marine Auxiliary Engine. The RENR2253 Schematic is effective with the 3512B (8EM279-Up) and the 3516B (9AN126-Up) Marine Auxiliary Engines.
