Description of Change: A new spacer plate gasket is used on these engines. The new gasket has an embossed bead around the lifter area that the former gasket did not have. This embossed bead will improve the sealing capacity of the joint.
Adaptable To: The new 144-5692 Spacer Plate Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 110-6992 Spacer Plate Gasket in these engines. The former spacer plate gasket is canceled. The new spacer plate gasket is effective with the engines as shown in the subtitle.
