New Integral Seal In Water Lines Groups Helps Prevent Coolant Leaks{1380}

Description of Change: A new integral seal (metal carrier with integral O-ring seal) is used in the water lines groups on these engines. The new integral seal replaces the former gasket between the top of the cylinder head and the water outlet elbow. See the illustration. The new integral seal resists deterioration from high temperatures better and will help prevent coolant leaks.
Location of the new 127-2176 Integral Seal in a typical water lines group.
Adaptable To: The new 127-2176 Integral Seal is a direct replacement for the former 8N-7640 and/or 110-4789 Gasket in the water lines groups on these engines.
