Four new videos about the operation and maintenance of the 3600 Family Of Engines are available. These videos can be ordered through the Caterpillar Literature System. A short description, form number, and length of each of the videos follows:
This tape is a general overview of the engines and components. It includes information about the lubrication system and lube oils, the fuel system and diesel fuels. This tape is 26 minutes and 42 seconds long.
This tape includes information about cooling systems, coolants, antifreeze, coolant conditioners, intake and exhaust systems, control and protection systems, startup and shutdown procedures, lube oil change, and daily maintenance procedures. This tape is 29 minutes and 50 seconds long.
This tape describes the 100, 250, and 1000 hour service procedures. These procedures include information about turbocharger washing, oil samples, coolant test, primary and secondary fuel filters, oil filters, centrifugal oil filters, governor, crankcase breathers, alarm and protection devices. This tape is 19 minutes long.
This tape describes the 2000 and 7500 hour service procedures. These procedures include information about valve and valve bridge adjustments, injector timing and injector synchronization, coolant and cooling system, water and oil temperature regulators, and governors. This tape is 23 minutes long.
