--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
Description of Change: A new cylinder liner, spacer plate, spacer plate gasket, and cylinder head gasket are used in the engines in the above machines. The top flange on the new cylinder liner has a larger outside diameter [211.60 mm (8.3317 in) versus 207.00 mm (8.150 in)]. The bottom outside diameter of the new liner has a 0.8 ± 0.2 mm (.03 ± .01 in) radius. The new cylinder liner will help prevent circumferential cracks from forming under the liner flange on the top deck of the cylinder block. The new spacer plate, spacer plate gasket, and cylinder head gasket are required because of the larger top flange diameter of the new cylinder liner.
Adaptable To: The new 110-6991 Cylinder Head Gasket, 110-6992 Spacer Plate Gasket, 110-6993 Cylinder Liner, and 110-6994 Spacer Plate are in effect as shown in the chart. Whenever a new 110-6993 Cylinder Liner is used to replace a cylinder liner with a top flange diameter of 207.00 mm (8.150 in), a new 110-6991 Cylinder Head Gasket, 110-6992 Spacer Plate Gasket and 110-6994 Spacer Plate are also required. A new 110-6991 Cylinder Head Gasket or 110-6992 Spacer Plate Gasket or 110-6994 Spacer Plate can be used with any former cylinder liner.
The 9Y-1485 Spacer Plate can be used with the new 110-6993 Cylinder Liner if the inside diameter is increased from the original 207.50 ± 0.15 mm (8.169 ± .006 in) to 212.10 ± 0.15 mm (8.350 ± .006 in).
