Crankshaft Pulley - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Remove belt guard
- Remove vibration damper

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Remove the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" to remove and install the belt.
- Use Tooling (A) prevent the crankshaft from rotating. Remove bolts (1) .

- Use Tooling (B) to remove crankshaft pulley (2) from the crankshaft.
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Ensure that the pulley is clean and free from damage. Replace any components that are damaged.
- Install pulley (2) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 70 ± 4 N·m (52 ± 3lb ft)
- Tighten bolts (1) an additional 50°± 2.5°
