There has been a correction to the Systems Operation Testing and Adjusting Manual for the 1999 model year 3406E (2WS, 1MM) Truck Engines.
The correct settings for the Jake Brake are as follows:
Low Horsepower 3406E (2WS) (355 to 375/435 Multi-torque): 0.94 mm (.037 in) High Horsepower 3406E (2WS) (435 to 550): 0.84 mm (.033 in) 600 Horsepower 3406E (1MM): 0.94 mm (.037 in)
