New Integral Seal (Air Compressor Mounting Seal) Available{1803}

Usage:

C-10 (2PN, 3CS, 8YS) C-12 (1YN, 2KS, 9NS) Truck Engines

Description of Change: A new integral seal (air compressor mounting seal) is now available for these truck engines. This new integral seal is used between the front housing and the air compressor. This integral seal is manufactured with a rubber seal bonded to steel and replaces the gasket that was used on these truck engines.

Adaptable To: The new 129-2181 Integral Seal is a direct replacement for the 117-0219 Gasket and is adaptable to all these truck engines. The new 129-2181 Integral Seal is effective with C-10 (8YS05630-Up) and C-12 (9NS16912-Up).

Before installing the new 129-2181 Integral Seal, the mating surface of the front housing must be thoroughly cleaned.

NOTE: Do not use a power buffer to clean the mating surface of the front housing.

Remove all the gasket residue using a Scotchbrite® pad, then install the new 129-2181 Integral Seal.
