Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure. Spring force will be released when covers are removed. Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened. |
Personal injury or death can occur from not following the proper procedure or the recommended tooling. To prevent the possibility of injury or death, follow the established procedure using the recommended tooling. |
Before you remove the air intake shutoff, pull the trip knob on the air intake shutoff or press the emergency stop button in order to release the blade latch. If the blade latch is released after the air intake shutoff is removed, serious personal injury can result. |
- Manually release the air shutoff. Pull or press in order to release the knob on the air shutoff. Ensure that the indicator on the air shutoff points straight to the "CLOSED" position. If the air shutoff did not trip, refer to Troubleshooting, "Air Shutoff System".

- Remove nuts (1) and air shutoff (2).
Note: Inspect the lines of the air intake for debris.
- Repeat for the opposite air shutoff.
