Engine Support (Front) - Remove and Install

Usage:

C13 CE3

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the vibration damper and the pulley.

  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Loosen clamp (1), clamp (3), and clamp (5).

  3. Remove hose (6) from valve (5).

  4. Remove valve (5) from tube (2).

  5. Remove tube (2).

  6. Support the front of the engine with a suitable lifting device. The weight of the engine is approximately 1406 kg (3100 lb).

  7. Remove bolts (8).

  8. Remove bolts (9) from engine support (7).

  9. Remove engine support (7) with a suitable lifting device from the front housing. The weight of engine support (7) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb.).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install engine support (7) in the reverse order of removal.
