Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove fuel filter base.

1. Remove fuel filter mounting bracket (1).

2. Remove head screws (3). Remove locknuts (4) and spacers (5).

3. Remove studs (6) and discard the O-ring seals. Use new O-ring seals for installation.

4. Remove front cover (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Install front cover (2) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Install new O-ring seals and apply Tooling (A) to the threads of studs (6).

      Note: The threads that are threaded into the front housing receives Tooling (A).

   2. Tighten head screws (3) to a torque of 21 ± 3 N·m (186 ± 27 lb in).
