Engine Oil Pump - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the engine oil pan.
- Remove tube assembly (3). Remove suction bell (1) and remove tube assembly (2). Discard the O-ring seals from tube assemblies (3) and (2).
- Remove engine oil pump (4).
- Remove plate (5) and discard gasket (6).

- Install engine oil pump (4) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply a bead of Tooling (A) to Area (X). the bead should have a constant cross section constant of
3 to 5 mm (0.12 to 0.20 inch) . Install gasket (6) within 10 minutes of applying Tooling (A). - Lubricate the O-ring seals and bores for tube assemblies (3) and (2) with clean engine oil.
