The control, shown in Illustration 1, has only four buttons. Each button serves only one function. The touch screen has a touch button area at the bottom of the screen.

Buttons

There are four dedicated buttons on the control panel front.

Home (1) - Display the top-level instrument screen

Alarm List (2) - Displays the alarm list

Start (3) - Start engine or engines

Stop (4) - Stop engine or engines

The screen is divided into three main sections.

Status bar (10) - Top most line on the screen, which is reserved for status symbols.

Main screen area (11) - The main screen area is where all instruments and menu icons are displayed.

Soft button line (12) - The bottom line on the screen, is reserved for soft buttons, which have different meaning depending on the selected screen.
