Configuration - Check

Usage:

UPSB 125 SEP
Use the following steps to verify the configuration parameters and the personalization parameters. Some situations may require variations to the default.

Contact Product Support to discuss any abnormal requirements that you are unsure or unclear about.

  1. Connect a laptop to the UPS and launch the UPS tuner service tool.

  1. Verify that Q4S breaker is in the ON (closed) position

  1. Verify that the UPS Tuner reports the status of the board as "Personalization STATUS 1" for MIZN and CHAN.

  1. Configure the parameters for the MIZN PCA, CHAN PCA, and the GDEN PCA,

  1. Run the test for the LED lights to verify that the LED lights will illuminate and cycle through the available color changes twice.

  1. Verify the correct date and time.

  1. Close the maintenance bypass switch for the Maintenance Bypass Cabinets (MBC), if available.

  1. Open the UPS Output isolation switch for the MBC, if available.

Applications that have the 3-CB external maintenance bypass cabinet complete the following steps:

  1. Open the UPS input isolation switch on the MBC.

  1. Follow normal operating procedures and continue powering down the UPS system.

  1. Place the MAINS 1 (Q1) and the MAINS 2 (Q4S) input switches to the OFF (open) position to de-energize the switches
