C-12 Engine Caterpillar

Configuration Parameters

Usage:

C-12 9SM
Customer specified parameters that will enhance the fuel efficiency and operator convenience can be programmed into the Electronic Control Module (ECM). Some parameters may affect engine operation. Certain engine parameters may be programmed by the customer by using Cat electronic service tools in order to influence the operation of the engine:

The customer specified parameters can be changed as often as needed. Password protection is provided so that the customer can change the parameters. The customer can authorize someone else to change the parameters.

Refer to the Troubleshooting Guide, "Programmable Parameters" for further information about configuration parameters. For detailed instructions on programming the engine for optimum performance and for optimum fuel economy, consult your Cat dealer.

To record programmed specifications, use the following blanks.
