Time Stamping Events
The time-stamping information for the UPS may be accessed using the standard keypad and display. Time-stamping of events allows the UPS to perform the following:
- Log the events
- Consult the last 500 events that occurred on the UPS
- Consult general statistical data on operation of the UPS operation
- Consult measurement records for a number of physical values concerning system operation

When "PAST EVENTS" is selected from the main menu on the display (22) of the control panel, text appears indicating the last event logged. The complete log may comprise up to 500 events. If over 500 events have occurred, only the last 500 events may be consulted.

Use the Scroll Up/Increment key (9) and the Scroll Down/Decrement key (10) to consult the event log.
Scroll Up/Increment key - Used to display the event that occurred just after the displayed event
Note: If the displayed event is the most recent in the list, there is no apparent change on the display.
Scroll Down/Decrement key - Used to display the event that occurred just before the displayed event.
Note: If the displayed event is the oldest event in the list, there is no apparent change on the display.
Logs are similar to the screens displayed for current events. The first line indicates the corresponding date and time of the logged event.

As shown in Illustration 2, this time stamp is also appended with ""Appearance:" or "Disappearance:" indicating when the event occurred or when the event cleared. The subsequent lines contain the standard text for the event.

As shown in Illustration 3, numerical values are never indicated in screens for time-stamped events.
