When "PAST EVENTS" is selected from the main menu on the display (22) of the control panel, selections are available for viewing the following information:
- Commissioning records (since installation)
- Current records (since last reset)
- Recorded parameters
Use the Scroll up/increment key (9) and the Scroll down/decrement key (10) to select the information to view. Use the Validate key (12) to view the selection.
ReferenceRefer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Display Settings" for instruction on using the main menu.
Commissioning and Current Values
There are two pages of information that can be accessed to determine statistical values. The information includes the following:
- Operational statistics since the UPS was entered into service
- Current statistics since the last reset of the UPS occurred

Statistics - page 1 |
The following statistics shown in Illustration 2 are on the first page of commissioning information:
"total backup time (h):" - Total hours of operation on battery power since initial startup of the UPS
"total time on static switch (h):" - Total hours of operation on the static switch since initial startup of the UPS
"total time on UPS (d):" - Total days that the load has been supplied by the UPS since initial startup
"total time with Tbatt > 25°C (h):" - Total hours of operation with the battery temperature greater than 25° C (77° F) since initial startup of the UPS.
"last reset:" - Date that information was last set to zero by the Teleservice function
"elapsed backup time (min):" - Total minutes of operation on battery power since the last reset

Statistics - page 2 |
The following statistics shown in Illustration 3 are on the second page of commissioning information:
Note: The values are in reference to the number of times the value was recorded since the UPS was last reset.
"nb of backups:" - Since the load was supplied by the UPS from battery power
"nb of backups < 1 min:" - Since the load was supplied by the UPS from battery power for less than 1 minute
"1 min < nb of backups < 3 min:" - Since the load was supplied by the UPS from battery power for more than 1 minute and less than 3 minutes
"nb of backups > 3 min:" - Since the load was supplied by the UPS from battery power for more than 3 minutes
"nb of overloads < 5 sec:" - Since the UPS was overloaded (output current greater than In) for less than 5 seconds
"nb of overloads > 5 sec:" - Since the UPS was overloaded (output current greater than In) for more than 5 seconds
"nb of times TBatt. > 25°C:" - Since the battery temperature was measured at over 25° C (77° F)
Recorded Parameters
Illustration 4 | g02363489 |
Format for recorded parameters |
Information is available as shown in Illustration 4 in a list format of five columns for the recorded parameters in the system. The lists indicate the last 30 measurements recorded chronologically for the specified "PARAMETER NAME". The displayed measurements are instantaneous values. The period "T" between two successive measurements is 30 days.
The measurements are listed top to bottom and then left to right. The most recent measurement is in the upper left-hand corner of the list. The next chronological measurement is listed just below the first in the same column. The final value is listed in the bottom right-hand corner of the list.
Recorded parameters include the following:
- Battery capacity
- Backup time
- Output load level
Approximately 10 seconds are required to call up and display the information once a list is selected. If the number of measurements is greater than 30, only the 30 most recent measurements are displayed.
Battery Capacity
Illustration 5 | g02363490 |
The "BATTERY CAPACITY" shown in Illustration 5 is the value measured by the UPS microprocessor. This measurement is used to check that the battery is able to supply the rated power in the event of a mains outage.
The battery capacity is expressed in Ampere-hours. The capacity changes over time depending on the parameters of the battery and the environment in which the battery is located.
Backup Time
Illustration 6 | g02363491 |
The "BACKUP" time shown in Illustration 6 is the value in minutes calculated by the UPS microprocessor based on the measurements performed on the battery. The calculation uses the percent load and the battery charge status at the time of the measurement.
Output Load Level
Illustration 7 | g02363492 |
The "OUTPUT LOAD LEVEL" shown in Illustration 7 is a ratio expressed as a percentage. The ratio is between the power supplied by the UPS to the load when measured and the rated output of the UPS.
