Bus Bar - Remove and Install

Usage:

Bus Bar Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the access panels (1).

    Note: Ensure that all of the wires and all of the cables are labeled before disassembly.

  2. Remove the cables (4) from the bus bar assembly (2). Remove the clamp assembly (5). Repeat this step for all of the cables that are connected to each bus bar (2).

  3. Feed the cable (4) through the access holes (3).

  4. Make an alignment mark (10) from the bus bar assembly plate (7) to the terminal box (8).

  5. Remove the mounting bolts (6) that attach the bus bar assembly plate (7) to the bus bar housing (8).

  6. Use two people in order to remove the bus bar (7) assembly. The weight of bus bar (7) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

Installation Procedure

  1. Use two people in order to install bus bar (4). The weight of bus bar (4) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

  2. Feed the cable assemblies (2) through the access holes.

  3. Install cable assemblies (2) onto the terminal and install clamp assembly (3). Repeat this step for all other cable assemblies.

  4. Install panels (1).
