Problem
There have been reports of leaks of the 137-5541 Fuel Priming Pump As .
Solution
Use existing parts until a permanent repair is defined. Use the following procedure for using the fuel priming pump.
Priming the Engine
- Loosen the fuel priming pump.
- Prime the engine until pressure is felt.
- Tighten the fuel priming pump.
- Start the engine.
- If the engine does not start, repeat Step 1 through Step 4.
Note: Do not crank the engine while you are using the fuel priming pump.
