Fan - Remove and Install

Usage:

335F FEP

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the hood.

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Remove bolt (3). Remove bolts (1) and support assembly (2).

  3. Remove hose (4) and (5). Disconnect hose assembly (6).

  4. Loosen clamp (7) and clamp (10). Remove bolts (9) and tube assembly (8).

  5. Cut cable straps (11) and disconnect harness assembly (14).

  6. Remove bolts (13) and fan guard (12).

  7. With belt (17) on the fan drive, loosen bolts (16) from fan (15).

  8. Remove belt (17). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, " Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" to remove and install the belt.

  9. Use a suitable lifting device to remove fan (15).

  10. Remove bolts (16). Separate fan (15) from the fan drive and remove fan (15).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install fan (15) in the reverse order of removal.
