Water Pump - Remove and Install

Usage:

335F FEP

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Turn disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.

  3. Open hood (2).

  4. Disconnect hoses (3).

  5. Disconnect hose assembly (5). Disconnect hoses (4) and (6).

  6. Remove bolts (8), bolts (9), bolt (11), water pump (10), and gasket (7).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install water pump (10) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten bolts (8), bolts (9), and bolt (11) in the sequence that is shown in Illustration 6 to a torque of 22 N·m (195 lb in).
