Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Ensure that the O-ring seal is installed on the adapter of the engine oil pump and place clean engine oil on the O-ring seal.
- Install Tooling (A) in the engine oil pan and install the gasket.

- Fill the engine to the correct level with clean engine oil. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
