有关检查飞轮壳体的信息，参见系统操作/测试和调整。
注: 在安装飞轮壳体之前，检查飞轮壳体的前表面和缸体的后表面。 各部件均应无以下物质： 机油, 燃油, 水, 密封垫粘合剂, 组件锁固胶 和 任何其它杂质.
为了对飞轮壳体和缸体之间的接合面进行密封，在飞轮壳体的配合表面涂抹 4C-5300 衬垫密封剂 或 185-3984 衬垫密封剂 。
匀力拧紧将飞轮壳体固定在发动机缸体上的螺栓。 有关螺栓的位置和识别参见插图1和表1。

1/2 英寸直径螺栓扭矩 ... 135 ± 20 N·m (100 ± 15 lb ft)
5/8 英寸直径螺栓扭矩 ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
