The alignment of the bellows is important. Improper alignment may lead to premature failure of the bellows. Misalignment can be identified by visually inspecting the convolutions for uniformity of compression. Inspect the bellows for damage prior to installation. If there is any damage to the convolutions, discard the bellows. Minor damage to the ends of the bellows may be repaired. However, if there is any difficulty in installation after the repair, discard the bellows. |

- Install actuator (16) onto clean gas induction valve (14). Install bolts (15) .

- Install clean gas induction valve (14) .
- Install bolts (13) and the spacers. Tighten clamp (12) to a torque of 11 ± 1 N·m (97 ± 9 lb in). Tighten clamp (11) to a torque of 11 ± 1 N·m (97 ± 9 lb in).

- Connect hose assemblies (10). Connect harness assembly (9) .

The ends of the bellows are very sharp. Injury could occur if the bellows are not handled properly. Handle the bellows by the convolutions. |

Note: Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1728, "Application Guideline for the Bellows" for additional information on handling the bellows.
- Install duct (4) and bellows (8) .
- Apply Tooling (A) onto the threads of clamp (5). Connect clamp (5) and tighten clamp (5) to a torque of 12 ± 2 N·m (106 ± 18 lb in). Apply Tooling (A) onto the threads of clamp (2). Connect clamp (2) and tighten clamp (2) to a torque of 12 ± 2 N·m (106 ± 18 lb in). Position tube assembly (6) and harness assembly (7). Connect harness assembly (7). Connect tube assembly (6). Position tube assembly (1). Position the clips and install nut (3). Connect tube assembly (1) .
