The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
The serial lines on the D6K and the D6N with the Attachment Ready Option (ARO) for AccuGrade are exchanged on machines that are equipped with the following harnesses: 291-5422 Wiring Harness and 257-8098 Wiring Harness . Two-way data is no longer possible with the incorrect wiring. The harness that is affected is between the AccuGrade GPS display and the AccuGrade GPS radio.
Solution
Exchange the wires on the harness for the GPS Display.

Refer to the following steps in order to correct the wiring on the 293-8252 Monitor Harness As for the GPS display.
- On connector CD-C1, remove wire N961-CD13 pin 20.
- On connector CD-C1, move wire N960-CD15 pin 7 to pin 20.
- On connector CD-C1, remove wire N958-CD12 pin 19.
- On connector CD-C1, move wire N957-CD14 pin 6 to pin 19.
- On connector CD-C1, place wire N961-CD13 in pin 6.
- On connector CD-C1, place wire N958-CD12 in pin 7.
