1. Install valve (33), spring (32), and guide (31) on seal (34).

2. Install valve assembly (30) in the hydraulic tank. Install nuts (29).

3. Install screen (26), plate (27), and locknut (28) on baffle (25). Tighten locknut (28) to a torque of 20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft).

4. Install O-ring seal (24) on baffle (25).

5. Install baffle assembly (23) on the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (22).

6. Install screen (18), washer (19), washer (20), and nut (21) on strainer (17).

7. Install O-ring seal (16) on strainer (17).

8. Install strainer assembly (15) on the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (14).

9. Install screens (12) and (13) on the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (11).

10. Clean the mating surfaces of the hydraulic tank and apply Tooling (A) to the mating surfaces of the hydraulic tank.

    Note: Make sure that the ends of Tooling (A) overlap in a crisscross manner, as shown.

11. Use two people in order to join the two halves of the hydraulic tank. The weight of the hydraulic tank is 98 kg (216 lb). Install bolts (10).

12. Install setscrew (7) and the O-ring seal on sight glass (8). Install cap (9) and the O-ring seal on sight glass (8).

13. Install O-ring seals (6) on both sides of sight gauge (5).

14. Install sight gauge (5) on the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (4) on sight gauge (5). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in).

15. Install O-ring seal (3) on top cover assembly (2).

16. Install top cover assembly (2) on the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (1) on top cover assembly (2).

End By:

1. Install the hydraulic tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank (Steering)(Brake) - Install".
