Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Disconnect".

2. Remove access panel (1) from enclosure (2).

3. Remove bolts (3) in order to remove guard (4) from enclosure (2).

4. Loosen clamp (5).

5. Loosen clamp (7) in order to remove exhaust pipe (6).

6. Attach a suitable lifting device onto muffler assembly (8). The weight of muffler assembly (8) is approximately 204 kg (450 lb).

7. Remove bolts (9). Remove muffler assembly (8).

Installation Procedure

1. Attach a suitable lifting device onto muffler assembly (8). The weight of muffler assembly (8) is approximately 204 kg (450 lb). Install muffler assembly (8).

2. Install bolts (9) to muffler assembly (8).

3. Install exhaust pipe (6). Tighten clamp (7).

4. Tighten clamp (5).

5. Install guard (4) onto enclosure (2). Install bolts (3).

6. Install access panel (1) to enclosure (2).

7. Connect the battery. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Battery or Battery Cable - Connect".
