Removal Procedure

1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "OFF" position.

2. Remove cover (1).

3. Disconnect harness assemblies (2).

4. Remove alternator belt (6).

5. Remove bolt (3).

6. Remove bolt (5).

7. Remove alternator (4).

Installation Procedure

1. Position alternator (4).

2. Install bolt (5).

3. Install bolt (3).

4. Install alternator belt (6).

5. Adjust the belt tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

6. Connect harness assemblies (2).

7. Install cover (1).

8. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "ON" position.
