A New Integral Seal Provides Improved Sealing {7555}

Description of Change: A new integral seal has been introduced for all 3408 and 3412 industrial engines, generator set engines, and marine engines. The new seal can be used on the engines in order to improve the sealing capabilities for the following components:
- Flywheel housing covers
- Crankcase side covers
- Engine oil lines
Note: The new seal should not be used in order to seal engine coolant.

The new 234-8937 Integral Seal is a direct replacement for the former 4N-0933 Gasket. The 234-8937 Integral Seal is a rubber seal that has improved sealing capabilities for sealing engine lubricants. The 4N-0933 Gasket is a paper gasket. The 4N-0933 Gasket will remain available for use in cooling systems and other applications.
