Rocker Shaft - Disassemble
Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the rocker shaft and pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Remove".
- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining rings (5) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force. |

- Place an identification mark on each of the components for installation purposes.
- Remove rocker arm assembly (4) .
- Remove bracket (3) .
- Remove rocker arm assembly (2) .
- Remove spring (1) .
- Repeat Steps 3 through 6 in order to completely disassemble the rocker shaft assembly.
