Two Bolts Have Been Added At The Junction Of The Converter And Retarder Housing To Prevent O-Ring Seal Damage{3109}

627 and 637 Scrapers
Description of Change: Two more bolts are now used to fasten the converter housing to the retarder housing on 627 and 637 Scrapers. The addition of these two bolts will make these housings more rigid in the area of the O-ring seal for the transmission oil pump outlet. This will prevent flexing (movement) between these housings. Formerly, flexing of these housings sometimes caused erosion and/or failure of the O-ring seal in the oil pump outlet passage.
