New Flywheel Clutch Uses Three Driven Discs Instead Of Two; Must Be Used Only With New Flywheel{3052,3054,1156}

Usage:

D6C, D6D Tractors (Special Application-Direct Drive)

Description of Change: A new flywheel clutch group and a new flywheel assembly are used on D6D Special Application Direct Drive Tractors. The new flywheel clutch has three driven discs instead of the two discs formerly used. The use of three discs increases the capacity of the clutch to lower the rate of wear in heavy load conditions, and gives longer service life. The reduction in wear will also lower the frequency of adjustment. With the new clutch, a new flywheel group uses a new flywheel assembly to fit the new clutch. The flywheel retainer bolts are not changed.

------ WARNING! ------

Do not make any modification of the former flywheel to adapt it to the new clutch. This type of modification will make the flywheel weaker, and can possibly cause a failure.

-------WARNING!-------

Adaptable To: All earlier D6C and D6D Special Application, Direct Drive Tractors (5X and 17R) when the necessary parts are used together. The new flywheel assembly must be used with the new clutch parts.
